Is there a way to pull up a list of all of my debts off of the internet?
Kim
No, you can't pull up a list of your debts - which is a good thing. If you could pull up such a list, you can bet that other creditors, potential employers and landlords, the IRS, and possibly your mother-in-law could find a way to do the same.
The closest thing you can find to a list of your debts is your credit report. It only shows what you owed last time it was reported, however, and it may not include everything you owe, such as medical bills and back taxes.
You can probably find out how much you owe on individual bank and credit card accounts by going online. Read the instructions on your statement for instructions on getting started. It's a great idea to check your balances online regularly, especially if you are close to the limits. Anything to avoid those overlimit fees!
